Overview:
The Easy-Laser E-970 with XT22 is a high-precision laser alignment system used for machine tool geometry inspection and correction. It ensures accurate alignment and leveling of machine components to meet ISO/VDI standards.

Geometry Test & Correction Procedure:

  1. Set up the E-970 laser and XT22 detector on the machine.

  2. Perform geometry checks including:

    • Straightness of X, Y, and Z axes

    • Squareness between axes

    • Spindle direction relative to table/bed

    • Machine level (longitudinal and crosswise)

    • Parallelism of guideways and surfaces

  3. Use the Easy-Laser XT software for real-time deviation readings.

  4. Adjust and correct mechanical misalignments (shimming, leveling, guide rail adjustments).

  5. Re-verify after correction to ensure geometry is within tolerance.
